One Year Since Parkland, No Action From Congress. Never Again. Sign On To Demand Action >>
On February 14, 2018 tragedy struck in Parkland, Florida. Seventeen members of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School community lost their lives. In the wake of that tragedy, that same community turned to advocacy, fighting for practical public safety reforms to end the epidemic of school violence.
This January, the House of Representatives introduced bipartisan legislation to create Universal Background Checks on gun purchases. Even in the wake of Parkland, Congress has not passed any common-sense gun reform policy in the last 25 years!
Over 40,000 Americans died from gun violence in 2018. Enough is enough. We need to keep the pressure on lawmakers in Washington to do what's right. Sign on now to demand that Congress pass common-sense gun violence prevention legislation.
